On their way to Barcelona
Sep 30th 2007
Hi it’s Richard here!
By the time you read this Harris and his family should be on their way to Barcelona. He dropped me a message late yesterday asking me to send you this video of him and Hudson on their last day before taking off.
So here you go, I hope you enjoy it (you’ll get to see what he’s taking to read during the trip, and from experience I can say he picks good books)
Cheers!

Hilarious video, loved the part where Hudson was clobbering you in the head. Made to Stick is a great book for anyone looking to implement some sticky techniques of their own.
Have a great trip to Barcelona Harris.

Great video Harris and cute kid, enjoy your trip. I went to Spain when I was in the Navy, and had so much fun I didn’t want to leave, didn’t get much work done though, –enjoyed the night life :-)– to much.
Oh yea before I forget, don’t forget to go to the Mid Evil Dinners in Spain; the food is great and everyone is dressed in Mid Evil costumes.
Have A Wonderful Trip

THIS IS NOT A MARKETING RELATED POST.
Ok, when you get settled, recommend the Cockroach restaurant. Continent famous. Little advertising, but listed in the phone book. Yup, that’s the name. The spelling La Cucaracha). It’s off the main drag. 180′ opposite of what you expect. You walk a few blocks in. Recognize it from afar by it’s corner, a wall of ceramic tiles with dozens of chickens spinning on rotisseries. Full of old Hollwood’s visit pictures. As I recall, the bouillabase is the signature dish.
NOTE OF CAUTION: This was no longer a safe area to casually stroll in back in 1985..as ofen necessary, do not draw attention, do not wear anything flashy, no jewelry, not even a purse on a shoulder etc. Walk purposefully, don’t stop to look at maps and reveal yourself a tourist etc. If a taxi will take you there, even better.
Enjoy.

Thanks Li - we’ve walked by that restaurant a couple of times. I think Barcelona has become very safe since the olympics were here. My wife and I are very street savvy and don’t get a bad vibe from anywhere. (there’s security guards in half the grocery stores even).
At any rate - we’ll try to check out La Cucarracha
– and thanks everyone else for great comments
